Scholarships
2003 winners
Our committee met on September 11, 2003 for the purpose of selecting this year’s winners. We received ten applications and all were from very worthy candidates making the decision very difficult. However, after carefully scoring each applicant we based our decision on the applicant’s economic needs, scholastic merit, and personal achievements. In addition, we gave preference to first time applicants and to those related to FOP members.
Therefore it is with great pleasure to announce the 2003 winner’s in the order in which they placed:
1 st Place Danielle S. Boyer of Spokane $500
2 nd Place Kristen Navejas of Pasco $500
3 rd Place Chris A. Cheesman of Bellingham $500
4 th Place Kelli Spaulding of Battle Ground $500
5 th Place Alyson Eastman of Battle Ground $500
6 th Place Andrew Yaden of Kennewick $100
